Michael Kelly
Mike is an independent software-testing consultant with experience in software development and automated testing. He has published numerous articles on IBM developerWorks, the Rational Developer Network, StickyMinds.com, and SQATester.com on topics in test automation and testing in general and has been a technical editor for IBM Rational Software for articles on various testing topics.
He has been an attendee at several of the “Los Altos" style workshops on software testing including the Austin Workshop on Test Automation (AWTA), the Software Test Managers Roundtable (STMR), and the Workshop on Performance and Reliability (WORP). He has presented at several conferences on software testing including the International Conference on Software Testing Analysis and Review (STAR), the IBM Rational Software Development Conference, and later this fall the Pacific Northwest Software Quality Conference (PNSQC).
Mike is a former adjunct professor in computer science at Indiana Institute of Technology where he taught a course in software testing and is currently serving as the Program Director for the Indianapolis Quality Assurance Association and the Membership Chair for the Association for Software Testing. In addition, Mike is a member of the Context-Driven School of Testing and a signatory of the Manifesto for Agile Software Development.
