Congratulations to Sayasat Nurbek on his appointment as the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan!

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev dated June 11, 2022, Sayasat Nurbek was appointed as the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The President signed a resolution on the reorganization of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan by dividing it into the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Head of State K.Zh. Tokayev outlined four main tasks for the new ministry:

• the return of the status and strengthening of the National Academy of Sciences;
• university science;
• support and financing of research and development projects;
• popularization of science.

S. Nurbek, being the CEO of BTS Education, was one of the key speakers at the II annual Eurasian Forum on Quality Assurance in Education "Transformation through Digitalization: Universities and Quality Assurance", organized by the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education on September 16, 2019.
