During the panel session "Global Competitiveness of Higher Education: Building a Strategy", the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek noted that the education system of Kazakhstan is facing a dilemma: to lose the existing foundation of the basic sciences curriculum or to preserve the conservative core of education.
