For the ninth year in a row, on the eve of the Independence Day and New Year holidays, IQAA is holding a charity event for 100 lonely pensioners and disabled people – giving gifts and a basket of food products. The contents of each basket consisted of 18 types of products: tea, butter, Kazakhstan chocolate, three types of pasta, milk, sunflower oil, oatmeal, New Year's gift, stewed horse meat, buckwheat, barakat rice, green peas, Lambert cheese, apple, bananas, tangerines.
As usual, the IQAA management purchased food products in advance, which were delivered to the Agency and packed into bags by employees. The next day, taxis were ordered to deliver pensioners to their homes. As every year, this year, student volunteers from the A.K. Kusainov Eurasian Humanitarian Institute took part in the charity event, for which we express special gratitude to the university management. Then the employees and students left the Agency along nine different routes.
Many of the retirees met the staff and students more than once, recognized them and were very happy with the gifts and attention. Some of them cried and told stories from their lives, some gave their instructions and wishes. Everyone was deeply touched. We are glad that by observing this annual good tradition, we make the world a little better. The full photo report can be found on the official Facebook page of the Agency.
