On March 12–13, 2026, the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA), within the framework of international accreditation procedures, conducted an external audit of educational programs at Baku State University.
During the visit, the expert panel, consisting of experts from leading universities of Kazakhstan and international experts from Turkey, Slovenia, and Pakistan, carried out a comprehensive evaluation of 14 educational programs offered by the university. The panel also analyzed the organization of the educational process, the internal quality assurance system, and research activities.
As part of the audit, the experts visited modern laboratories, reviewed the upgraded university infrastructure, and assessed the conditions created for teaching and conducting research.
Following the visit, the expert panel collected and analyzed the necessary information to support subsequent decision-making within the framework of IQAA’s international accreditation procedures.
