For the seventh year in a row, the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) has been leading a good annual tradition of congratulating lonely elderly people and people with disabilities in Astana on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the New Year and giving them gifts with food.
This year, without changing the tradition, on December 16, food products were purchased and packed in New Year's bags. Each bag, weighing over 12 kg, contained products for the festive table: stewed beef, rice, buckwheat, pasta, oatmeal, green peas, sunflower oil, butter, Lambert cheese, milk, black tea, apples, bananas, tangerines, chocolate Kazakhstani and New Year's gift.
Then the Agency's employees, together with student volunteers of the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute, visited the homes of 90 pensioners and disabled people and presented them with gifts. Everyone was sincerely happy and grateful, some of them even treated the employees in return, read poems for the Independence Day and, of course, thanked the Agency's management for the gifts and attention. After all, there is nothing more important than human warmth, kindness and attention!
IQAA expresses its gratitude to the leadership and staff of the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute and the Center for Social Services "Sharapat" of the Akimat of Astana for their annual active participation and support in organizing this charity event. Let's hope that the action of kindness will continue in society and beyond the framework of such events, because we sincerely believe that kindness breeds goodness!
