Training seminar for experts

On January 21, 2025, IQAA held a training seminar for experts in the field of accreditation and external evaluation of higher education quality. The event was attended by 140 experts from universities in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Azerbaijan.

The President of IQAA, Professor Sholpan Murtazovna Kalanova, welcomed the participants, emphasizing the importance of continuous professional development for experts and the improvement of educational services at the international level.

The seminar covered key aspects of external quality evaluation in higher education, including the organization and conduct of external audits, report preparation, and the role of external evaluation in quality assurance.

The presentations were made by the directors of IQAA departments, Associate Professors K.M. Dzhigitcheeva and G.T. Zhumadilova; members of the Accreditation Council, Vice-Rector of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University, Professor B.R. Nusupekov; First Vice-Rector of Almaty Technological University, Professor B.K. Nurakhmetov; and Head of the Accreditation Department at Auezov South Kazakhstan State University, Associate Professor B.T. Abidzhapparova.

The final stage of the seminar consisted of practical group assignments, which contributed to deepening the participants' knowledge, the exchange of practical experience, and effective interaction in the context of real assessment procedures.

The organizers expressed gratitude to all participants and expressed confidence that the acquired knowledge and skills will have a positive impact on improving the quality of education.

At the end of the training seminar, certificates will be sent by mail to the participants of the event.
