IQAA participated in a seminar on preparing schools for institutional accreditation

On February 20, a seminar entitled "Preparing educational institutions for institutional accreditation: mechanisms for ensuring the quality of education" was held at Secondary School No. 111, organized by the Methodological Center of the Astana City Administration.

The event brought together schools in the capital preparing for institutional accreditation and became an effective platform for open professional dialogue on issues of secondary education quality.

The seminar was attended by the President of the agency, Sh.M. Kalanova, the Director of the Department of Administrative Management and International Cooperation, D.M. Kalanov, as well as agency staff responsible for preschool and school education. Representatives of other accreditation agencies also joined the discussion.

The President of IQAA delivered a keynote speech on "Accreditation of secondary education institutions: global practice, current challenges and realities." The presentation outlined the agency's strategic development guidelines, its contribution to the formation of a national system of independent education quality assessment, and modern approaches to institutional accreditation of schools in Kazakhstan..


Seminar Methodological Center of the Astana City Administration

Particular attention was paid to IQAA international standards, external expert evaluation procedures, and requirements for the internal education quality assurance system. Participants received practical recommendations on preparing for self-assessment and forming an evidence base.

The seminar confirmed the agency's leading role in developing a culture of quality education and strengthening independent accreditation mechanisms in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
