Participation in the Forum of the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence

On June 11-12, 2015 the administration of the IQAA took part in the work of the forum "Rankings of study programmes and areas of study: more inclusive approach to the evaluation of the efficiency of universities" in Denmark. The Forum was organized by the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence and the Aalborg University in Denmark. The speakers were authoritative experts from the Great Britain, the USA, Germany, Norway, Italy, China, and other countries. The participants of the Forum discussed such topics as academic ranking in the institutional evaluation, practice in ranking for study programmes and areas of knowledge, strategies of ranking, sources of data for complying the ranking of universities, influence of the ranking for institutional improvements in the university, system of quality evaluation and its effects. In the framework of the forum, there was a presentation of IREG Guidelines for academic rankings.
