In February 2020, an EU-funded project was launched as part of the ERASMUS + calls to support the implementation of reforms in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
A kick-off meeting for the project was scheduled for March 2020 in Croatia. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers had to postpone the date of the originally scheduled meeting and hold it in a distant format.
The webinar was held on May 11, 2020, and was coordinated by the European Register of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (EQAR). All 17 project partners participated in the webinar: QAA, (ACQUIN (Germany), ACSUCYL (Spain), AEQES (Belgium, French Community), AIC (Latvia), ANQA (Armenia), AQ (Austria), CTI (France), EAEVE (Europe, veterinary medicine), HAC (Hungary), IQAA (Kazakhstan), IAAR (Kazakhstan), MusiQuE (Europe, music) NCEQE (Georgia), NCPA (Russia), NVAO (Netherlands), SKVC (Lithuania)), and experts ASHE (Croatia), NVAO (Flanders), David Gassiot Andreu (AQU Catalonia), Jozsef Gábor Bóné (developer of DEQAR).
The purpose of the webinar was to introduce agencies to each other, show the project structure, back-end and database workflow, and provide a list of technical requirements for agencies in the data presentation.
Issues related to the technical review of the DEQAR database and the planning of the support phase were discussed on the agenda. The necessary types of support for project information and reporting were also discussed.
