On Thursday, April 22, the ENQA Spring General Assembly was held in an online format, which was attended by the President of the IQAA, Professor Kalanova S. M., and the senior coordinator of the IQAA, Amantayev N. S. The General Assembly was devoted to the approval of the annual report of the auditors; the issues of personnel changes in the agency and new recommendations for external audit of educational institutions were also considered. According to the results of the vote, Douglas Blackstock, who has been a member of the Board of ENQA since 2019, was elected the new president of ENQA.
Daniela Cristina Ghiţulică of the Romanian agency ARACIS and François Pernot of the French HCERES were re-elected as Vice-presidents of ENQA, and together with Doris Herrmann (AQAS, Germany) and Jolanta Silka (AIC, Latvia) were elected as board members.
The director of the agency ACPUA (Spain), Professor Antonio Serrano Gonzales, was chosen to be the treasurer of ENQA.
The next meeting of the ENQA General Assembly is scheduled for October 21-22, 2021 in Valladolid, Spain.
