On 11 December 2025, representatives of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) participated in the international webinar INQAAHE Talks on Global Trends in Quality Assurance, dedicated to global trends in quality assurance in higher education.
The webinar was organized by the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and brought together leading experts and authors of the second global study “Global Trends in Tertiary Education – QA Challenges and Opportunities in Internal and External Quality Assurance”:
- Dr. Susanna Karakhanyan — Director of Higher Education Regulation and Licensing, former President of INQAAHE, and an expert with extensive international experience in QA initiatives;
- Prof. Kevin Kinser — Professor of Education Policy and a specialist in international higher education.
The session was moderated by Vicki Stott, President of INQAAHE and Chief Executive Officer of QAA (United Kingdom).
During the event, participants discussed current challenges and opportunities in internal and external quality assurance, the transformation of accreditation mechanisms, as well as issues related to adapting QA systems to changing educational paradigms and diverse learning formats.
Participation in the webinar enabled IQAA representatives to familiarize themselves with international experience, current analytical approaches, and promising directions for the development of quality assurance systems, contributing to the further enhancement of the Agency’s activities in line with global trends and best international practices.
