This event was conducted on July 21-22 2016 in Moscow (Russia). This seminar was organized by the federal state budgetary institution "National Accreditation Agency" together with the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation with support of the Ministry of Science and Rosobrnadzor.
This seminar was attended by representatives of Russian, Kazakh and foreign accreditation agencies. The President of IQAA, Professor Kalanova Sh. made a presentation on the topic: «Involvement of international experts in procedures of quality assurance». In her presentation, the President of IQAA highlighted a successful experience of IQAA in attracting and involving international experts to procedures of accreditation: nomination of experts, their selection, training and positive practice of their participation.
Professor Kalanova Sh. noted an important role and the necessity of involving international experts in all procedures of quality assurance at educational organizations due to the fact that their participation assures a wide range of expertise and independence of the group of experts from influence of the national conflicts of interests, and also contributes to the orientation on European and international standards and procedures of accreditation.
In the end of the seminar, there was a round table, where participants of the seminar discussed the issues concerning the internal quality assessment of education in institutions.
