Representatives of IQAA took part in the session on Nazarbayev University experience translation "Institutional Quality Assurance and Enhancement Processes"

On 1 June 2017, the representatives of IQAA took part in the session on Nazarbayev University experience translation "Institutional Quality Assurance and Enhancement Processes" in the framework of the VI Eurasian Higher Education Leaders’ Forum.

During this session the following topics were discussed:
1. EUA Institutional Evaluation Process at NU (European University Association);
2. NU Program Approval and Modification Processes;
3. Annual Review of Academic Processes and Student Engagement.

The session was held in a form of the dialogue between speakers and participants. The questions of quality assurance and academic quality enhancement raised a high interest among all participants of the session. Also, representatives of Kazakhstani higher education institutions were particularly interested in getting more information about the experience of Nazarbayev University in the process of developing study programmes in light of expanding academic and administrative freedom of higher education institutions.
