On December 17, 2020, on the eve of the New Year, as well as in honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) traditionally organized an annual charity event for lonely elderly people and children with disabilities. The list of all needy pensioners, persons with disabilities of I and II groups, disabled children with psycho-neurological pathology, children with musculoskeletal disorders, as well as children from low-income families was provided by the Sharapat Social Service Center of the Nur-Sultan Akimat.
The Agency's management purchased food and gifts for the New Year, which were packed in 105 bags by the first group of Agency employees on December 16. Each bag, weighing 10 kg, consisted of 18 products: sprats, buckwheat, rice, sunflower oil, oat flakes, a New Year's gift, tea, chocolate, spaghetti, pasta, cheese, Shadrinskoe milk, butter, apple, tangerines and bananas.
On December 17, a second group of Agency employees and 6 students of the Eurasian Humanities Institute (EAGI) delivered food to 105 addresses on pre-ordered taxis on 8 different routes. We especially would like to thank the management and volunteer students of EAGI, who annually support and participate in our charity event.
Everyone who received the gifts was very happy and grateful to the management and employees of the Agency for the products, gifts and attention. Through its example, the Agency hopes to have inspired other organizations and people to do similar good deeds and to help people in need and weak. After all, if everyone does good from a pure heart within the limits of their capabilities, then the possibilities of good will become limitless!
